Committee handover

Sports Club Committee Website Handover Checklist

A good handover transfers access and understanding so the incoming committee can operate without relying on a former volunteer.

Inventory every account and owner

Record the domain, hosting, content system, analytics, email, shop, integrations and social accounts. Use organisational access where available and identify billing contacts, recovery methods and current administrators.

Document recurring workflows

Explain how news is approved, fixtures update, sponsor content is maintained and registration pages change each season. Short operational instructions help a new volunteer complete real tasks, not simply log in.

Transfer relationships and open work

Introduce providers, list unresolved issues and note upcoming renewals or campaigns. Remove access that is no longer required only after confirming the incoming role can operate successfully.
